Not only is Lakewood a hub for arts and cultural, it is replete with schools. The city is serviced by about 26 public elementary schools, 6 middle schools, 8 high schools,18 private schools and multiple K-12 optional schools. Colorado Christian University, Red Rocks Community College and the Rocky Mountain Deaf School are also located on Lakewood turf making it quite possibly the most scholastically inclined Denver suburb.
